Yes. In accordance with our guidelines, we offer a Design Motif Library including traditional patterns like Kanote and motif. We also offer logo integration for corporate orders; custom production typically requires 4–8 weeks following prototype approval.

Sustainability is core to our mission. We use natural materials, including bamboo, wood, and organic lacquer resin derived from the Melanorrhoea usitata tree. Our traditional finishes use mineral pigments like vermillion and orpiment. Our classic lacquerware is traditionally food-safe, though we recommend using it primarily for dry food service or decorative purposes to preserve the intricate hand-engraved details.

To preserve the luster of your BAS piece for generations, we recommend the following:

• Avoid Heat: Do not place lacquerware in the microwave, oven, or dishwasher.
• Cleaning: Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals.
• Storage: Keep away from direct, prolonged sunlight to prevent the natural pigments from fading.
• Moisture: Do not soak lacquerware in water for extended periods.

A standard BAS lacquerware piece can take anywhere from 2 to 4 months to complete, depending on the number of lacquer layers and the complexity of the engraving.
