01. Conditions for Returns

To ensure the preservation of our artisanal craft, all returned items must be in pristine condition. This means the product must be unused, unwashed, and entirely free of flaws, scratches, or signs of wear. We pay particular attention to lacquer finishes, which must remain in their original gallery-standard state.

Your return must include all original documentation provided at the time of purchase. This includes original tags, certificates of authenticity, and any decorative accessories or inserts that accompanied the piece.

Finally, items must be returned in their original packaging, such as the BAS handcrafted gift box or velvet protective pouch. To protect the integrity of the artisan box, please ensure that no adhesive tape or shipping labels are applied directly to the product packaging; use an external shipping carton for the return journey.

02. Returns Policy & DHL Timelines

Reporting Window: In alignment with DHL's global return standards, please initiate a return request within 30 days of the delivery date. This extended window ensures our international clients have sufficient time to coordinate with DHL courier services.

DHL Integration: Once your return is authorized, we will provide a DHL Express return waybill. You may schedule a pickup via the DHL portal or drop off the package at any authorized DHL ServicePoint. All returns are fully trackable via the DHL tracking number provided.

Custom Orders: Please note that customized artisanal pieces, including those with bespoke motifs, institutional logos, or personalized engravings, are considered final sale. These items are ineligible for "Change of Mind" returns due to their unique, made-to-order nature.

Refund Processing: Refunds are initiated within 5 business days of the item passing our quality inspection in Yangon. Please note that original shipping fees and any non-refundable customs duties are excluded from the refund total.

03. Valid Reasons for Return

We accept returns and exchanges for the following specific circumstances:

  • Damaged at Delivery: The item arrived with physical cracks, chipped lacquer, or structural damage sustained during transit. (Please provide photos of the DHL package condition).
  • Incorrect Item: The received item does not match your order in terms of motif, color palette, or dimensions.
  • Quality Defects: The item exhibits fundamental craft flaws that fall outside the expected variations of handmade artisanal work.
  • Incomplete Order: The delivery is missing key components or accessories that were part of the set.
