Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the BAS – Burmade Art Space online gallery and store burmade.com .

1. Introduction and Corporate Entity

Welcome to burmade.com, operated by Burmade LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Throughout the Site, the terms “we”, “us”, “Shop”, and “BAS” refer to Burmade LLC. BAS is an artisanal handcraft gallery and direct-to-consumer retail platform.

By using this Site, you accept these terms and conditions and represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. This agreement is effective upon your first use of the Site.

2. Legal Notice: Electronic Communications

In accordance with the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and applicable Wyoming statutes, this document is an electronic record. By using our services, you consent to receive communications from us electronically. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require physical or digital signatures to be legally binding.

3. Website Use & Restrictions

By accessing the Site, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Using the Site to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of Burmade LLC or others.

  • Engaging in data mining, scraping, or using automated systems to extract data.

  • Transmitting viruses, malware, or any code of a destructive nature.

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our servers or customer databases. Any breach of these restrictions will result in the immediate termination of your access and potential legal action under Wyoming and international law.

4. Product Availability & Pricing

  • Availability: Most BAS items are produced in small batches or are "Made to Order." We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products we offer. All descriptions of products are subject to change at any time without notice.

  • Pricing & Currency: Prices are typically displayed in U.S. Dollars (USD) for international transactions .

  • Exchange Rates: If you are paying in a currency other than USD, the final exchange rate is determined by your bank or payment provider. Burmade LLC is not responsible for any currency conversion fees or fluctuations.

  • Price Adjustments: We reserve the right to modify prices at any time due to changes in material costs or artisanal labor.

5. Returns & Refund Policy

In partnership with DHL Express, we offer a premium global return service:

  • Return Window: You must initiate a return request within 30 days of the delivery date.

  • Eligibility: Items must be in pristine, unused condition with all original BAS packaging, tags, and certificates of authenticity. Lacquerware must be free of scratches or chips.

  • Custom Orders: As outlined in our Customization Guidelines, bespoke items (custom motifs, logos, or engravings) are final sale and ineligible for returns unless they arrive damaged.

  • Process: Upon approval, we provide a DHL Return Waybill. You may schedule a pickup or drop off at a DHL ServicePoint.

  • Refunds: Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of inspection. Original shipping costs and international customs duties are non-refundable.

6. Conditions of Sale & Customization

Burmade LLC is the direct provider of the products.

  • Customization: Orders involving custom motifs follow our "Custom Order Workflow." Digital or physical prototype approval constitutes a binding production contract.

  • Artisanal Nature: Because our products are handcrafted using traditional Acient Bagan techniques, minor variations in color, texture, and finish are inherent characteristics of the craft and do not constitute defects.

7. Shipping & Global Logistics

Global logistics are facilitated through DHL Express.

  • Duties and Taxes: As a Wyoming-based LLC selling globally, Burmade LLC is not responsible for local import duties, VAT, or customs fees. These are the sole responsibility of the recipient

8. Privacy Policy Reference

Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data in compliance with international standards and Wyoming law.

9. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

  • Liability: Burmade LLC shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the Site. Our liability for transit damage is limited to the insurance coverage provided by DHL Express.

  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify Burmade LLC from any claims arising out of your breach of these terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
